United Community Bank joins fight against Alzheimer's Disease United Community Bank has united to fight Alzheimer's Disease with the Alzheimer's Association through participation in their UCB Purple & Jeans Days for June Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month. UCB employees at all five UCB locations are joining in the fight against Alzheimer's disease by donating $10 to wear purple and jeans to work on Fridays. In addition to raising awareness about the disease, the funds raised for the Alzheimer's Association will help in the organization's efforts to provide care and support for Alzheimer's patients and advance critical research.
