UCB joins fight against breast cancer: United Community Bank employees united to fight breast cancer with the American Cancer Society through participation in their UCB Pink & Jeans Days for October Breast Cancer Awareness Month. UCB staff members at all five locations joined in the fight against cancer by donating $10 to wear pink and jeans on Fridays in October. In addition to raising awareness about breast cancer, the $500 raised for the American Cancer Society will assist efforts to help save lives from breast cancer through early detection and prevention, innovative breast cancer research, and patient support.
