Future antiquers?: The Clay Raiders 4-H Club enjoyed a unique 'Antiquer-In-Training' scavenger hunt last weekend. The children gathered in Spencer for a fun, educational challenge where they searched for a plethora of items from days gone by. The children could easily identify some items, while others stumped members as they learned of devices and toys that they had never heard of before. A few of the listed items were G.I. Joe dolls, washboards, cream cans, glass milk jars, chamber pots and hatpins. The club was given a peek back in time as they learned what these items were and how they were used. After the hunt, Raiders were treated to pizza and ice cream to round out the day.
