Lions go on ditch duty: The Hartley Lions Club members on April 29 cleaned their two miles of ditches going westward on Highway 18 beginning at L58. The process took about an hour to complete. Depending upon circumstances, the cleanup is generally done on a semi-annual basis. Pictured are several Hartley Lions Members: Jerry Olson, John Buck, Norb Groff, Dr. David Christenson, Dorothy Wegner, Lon Vogt and Dan McCarty. Also helping the club and pictured is Jackson Vogt, Lon Vogt's grandson.
